Frederick Alexander - Life after army service (1963-1972)

Following his service in the Royal Artillery (1941-1972) Frederick retired on an Army pension of 180 shillings and 2d per week.

He and his wife Dorothy moved from North Wales (41 Sandilands Rd, Towyn, Merionethshire) to settle in the Liverpool area as we find them living in 20 Hero Street, Bootle in February 1964.

By 1967, aged 58, he was working as a postman.

By 1972 they had moved to 3 Radley Drive, Old Roan, West Lanes, Liverpool. and it was on 21 February 1972 that Frederick died aged 63 and 1 month (Neoplastic Mass L.Axilla. primary site unknown). fadeathcert
