The discharge records of Edward Roy Kissack record:-

Warrant Officer Kissack joined the Royal Air Force in 1956 at age 21 years and was initially trained as a Wireless Operator, later transferring to Special Communications duties. In his 33 years he has seen overseas Service in many countries and especially Australia, Cyprus, Middle East and Hong Kong. He was promoted to Warrant Officer in 1981.

As a manager his communication skills, problem solving ability and leadership are second to none and he has been a hard working, dedicated, loyal and trustworthy member of staff. He possesses a good sense of humour, is always smartly dressed and has always set an excellent example to his junior staff.

Always prepared and able to do more than the basic task, WO Kissack has recently been used as a trouble-shooter; resolving trade and management problems in Europe and the UK.

In addition to his service duties, Mr Kissack has achieved full recognition as a Grade 1 International AAA Official. He is seen regularly on television, both organising and officiating at athletics events.

No matter what WO Kissack has turned his hand to, he has always been successful. He has earned 3 commendations from Air Officers Commanding and, in 1983, was awarded the highly-prized Meritorious Service Medal. He can be very strongly recommended as a valuable asset to any prospective employer.
